The Harbour View Clubhouse is located in the northwest portion of the City of Huntington Beach at 16600 Saybrook Lane, south of Heil.

Reservations in which alcohol will be served must be made at least 45 days in advance (beer, wine & champagne only): All other rentals must be made at least three (3) weeks in advance or up to one (1) year. Alcohol events require the hiring of a security agency.

Reservations are made in person at the Community Services Department on the 5th floor of the Huntington Beach Civic Center (2000 Main Street) and are on a first come, first served basis. Dates will not be held by phone. Full payment is required at time of reservation. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. The rental rates are as follows:

NOTES

Regulations

  1. A minimum of 45 days advanced reservation is required for events serving alcohol. Beer, wine, and champagne may be served. “Hard alcohol” may not be served or brought on to the premises.
  2. A custodian will meet you at the facility. The doors will be unlocked at your designated start time, and will be locked at the end of your rental time.
  3. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed outside of the clubhouse or in the surrounding park.
  4. ‘Rental hours’ are the time you (or your designee) arrive, until the time the facility is cleaned and completely vacated.
  5. Possible clubhouse rental hours are 6:00am until 12:00am Friday and Saturday, and until 10:00pm Sunday through Thursday.
  6. Minimum rental is two hours.
  7. Patron is responsible for clean up of the facility. This includes mopping the floor. If the facility is not cleaned by the time specified on the application, the deposit may be forfeited.
  8. Music and DJ’s are permitted inside only. Live music may not be amplified. If the doors and windows are open and the music can be heard from the perimeter of the park, this is an indication it is too loud. A rental permit does not protect you or your event from noise complaints.
  9. Enclosed tents are not permitted at any Huntington Beach public park. 10’x10’ pop-up canopies are permitted.
  10. Please use only painter’s tape (no staple, tacks, nails, etc.) when applying decorations. No confetti is allowed inside or outside the facility. All decorations and tape must be removed when cleaning the facility.
  11. The tables and chairs provided by the city must remain inside the facility.
  12. The parking lot has 36 spaces and street parking is available as posted. Street sweeping is performed the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month.
  13. The surrounding park is not reservable and is not included with clubhouse rental. It will remain available to the public on a first come, first served basis.
  14. Smoking is not allowed inside the clubhouse.
  15. We do not provide lists of cleaning, rental, or catering vendors.
  16. This facility is not air conditioned.
  17. Viewing of the clubhouse may be done through the facility’s many windows. This facility is not staffed; therefore we do not offer tours.

Closed on Holidays
Facilities are not available on the following holidays: Easter, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Day, New Year’s Eve and Day.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the event date will incur a $10 cancellation fee. The $5.00 alcohol filing fee will not be refunded at any time. Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to event will forfeit all fees.

Change of Reservation Policy
Please make changes in person and at least 7 days prior to event.
All changes will incur a $10 change of reservation fee plus additional hours, etc. Additional fees are due at the time of change.

Special Events Serving Alcohol
Any group or individual charging a fee for alcohol or charging a fee for
entrance to the event and serving alcohol must purchase a one day ABC
permit from The State of California Alcohol Beverage Control Department.
