How do I become a registered vendor?

If you would like to become a registered vendor with the City of Huntington Beach, please select "vendor registration" from the top navigation and follow these steps:

Select a Username and Password and enter it in the boxes. (Tip: write it down to remember them). Enter your company information, your email and contact name, and most importantly, the primary category(s) your company is classified under. If you would like, provide additional information about your company.

When you are done completing the vendor registration form, click "Submit" in order to submit your registration to the City of Huntington Beach.

What happens after I register as a vendor online?

Once you have completed the vendor registration form online, you should receive an automatic email confirmation of your registration. This email confirmation will include your unique selected username and password with which you can login immediately to the system

Can I maintain my own profile on the website?

Yes, once you have registered as a vendor, you will be able to make any changes to your company profile at any time through our website. Simply select "Registered Users" from the Vendor Application and follow these instructions:

1. Enter the email address and password that you chose.
2. You will be taken to the page you had entered your company information. You can edit your profile or your preferences by clicking in the box and entering the current information. When you have completed the updates to your profile, click on "Update" and your information will be changed in your vendor profile and the file will automatically be updated for the agency.

What if I forget my username and password?

If you ever forget your password, you can have the City of Huntington Beach email it to you directly by by clicking on the "Forgot Your Passoword" button on the vendor application login page.

How do I request bid documents or download electronic documents and addenda?

If you have already registered as a vendor with the City of Huntington Beach, then you can download electronic documents (if they are available) by clicking the Website.

Bids and RFPs are also available to download on the bid detail page. Any questions reqarding the specification, exceptions, or approved equals must be put in writing to the buyer on the RFQ. If the bidder is responding from the city website, you must notify the appropriate buyer, which is listed on the front page of the RFQ. This is to notify the bidder of any addendums that may occur during the bidding process.

Are addenda available on the website?

Yes, a list of issued addenda are available on each bid detail page.
