The Huntington Beach City Beach is a 3.5-mile stretch of pristine shoreline. Popularly known as "Surf City," Huntington Beach is home to the world famous municipal pier, and is a west coast surf mecca for more than 8-million annual visitors.

US Open of Surfing construction under way from 6th Street to 1st Street, use caution when transiting the area and watch for heavy machinery.

Shark Advisory signs posted from Beach Blvd north to 12th Street due to a shark sighting near Tower 7 at 1st Street yesterday and 2:30 pm.  No water closure, signs will be removed at 2pm if no other sightings are noted.  As with any wilderness area, use caution when entering and observe any wildlife from a distance.

Directions: From the 405 FWY, take Beach Boulevard south to Pacific Coast Highway. Huntington City Beach is directly across Pacific Coast Highway and extends north from Beach Boulevard to Seapoint Street. Beach parking is available in designated locations.
